Hi Thank you for visiting my blog page. This is where I will post stuff that I think you may like or find of interest. Some of my posts may be funny, some serious and some are inspirational. My aim is for diversity. I thought I would start by telling  you a bit about myself and why I moved into Internet Marketing and making money from home, at a time when many my age are looking at maintaining a career until retirement. I’ll keep it brief so here goes.

Who Am I:

Garth Bernard.  Born 1960 in London. Son to my two parents Joye and Peter, brother to my two sisters Shaunagh and Fiona and “Chuchi Face” to my wonderful grandmother….

What Do I Do:

I am an Internet Marketer, Web Consultant and  NLP Master Practitioner, 

My Family:

I have two fantastic children both of whom are now grown up.

My son is a singer and my daughter is cabin crew, for what was once described as “the world’s favorite airline”. I am divorced from their mother but we remain really good friends. I have a girlfriend who I will simply describe as lovely. Oh, and I have a Yorkshire terrier  dog who I adore..

Where Do I Live:

A lovely house in Elstree, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. Near the studios.

Some History About me:

I am the youngest of three children and the only boy. I was brought up in leafy Edgware, Middlesex, before moving to the Barbican in the City of London . I was educated at Seaford College in Petworth, Sussex. I discovered that I was quite good at cross country and represented the county on a handful of occasions. My Dad was a successful salesman and it seemed appropriate that I should follow the same path.  For the next 20 years I did exactly that, spending my first 6 years in the furniture industry, discovering I had what some might call ‘a flair’ for direct sales.  I subsequently made a career in Financial Services and had some really successful years and fantastic fun.  During this time I got married, had my two great kids, bought a dog and a house and “lived the life” as they say. I enjoyed the normal things in life, like seeing my family and friends, going out and going on holiday.

My Personal Interests

One of my main interests is Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), of which I am a Master Practitioner. I love helping people make the changes they want to make, to help them achieve their goals .

As I said before, I adore my little dog and spend a lot of time walking with her. This is the time I get to clear my head. The great thing about having a dog is you have to walk, come rain or shine . It is such a healthy habit to get into. I also love swimming and do it most days. This is another place I totally relax. Half an hour , 5-6 times a week, normally really early in the morning, so I can walk that little dog after  and I am ready for the day ahead.

I am a keen skier and go at least twice a year. My two favorite places for this are Morzine in France, which has the most fantastic ski area and Whistler in Canada, as it is just an awesome place. I couldn’t believe how friendly the people were and how welcome they make you feel.    The guy things I’m interested in are, Formula One , football and cars – by cars I really mean Jaguars, as I have owned a few over the years – …

….and of course Gadgets.  I do love a good gadget! My latest obsession is everything and anything Apple. Great designs, easy to use , what more could you want? We live in an age where there are so many great toys…and so little time!!  Thanks to my great job, I now have the excuse and the time and money to buy lots of lovely gizmos! Definitely an  advantage of having a money making business at home.

Why I Changed Careers to  an Online Marketing Business.

I was Managing Director of a successful Mortgage Brokerage Company.  I was working very long hours and never seemed to have a life.   I never seemed to have any time to do the things I wanted to do. I became unhappy and dreaded going to work. I started to look for a new opportunity where i could have more time yet still earn the money i needed. Internet marketing was an obvious avenue as i could see it's potential but had no idea how i would be able to learn all that new stuff. I was from a different generation so computers were not second nature to me.

How i learned what to do

I would like to tell you that i immediately found all the tools , resources and people to help me and it was all very simple but i can't. It took me a long time and i made lots of mistakes. However i eventually did find all that i need mainly through my association with The Six Figure Mentors .  Meeting these people  allows me to rub shoulders with the very best in Internet marketing. To learn the strategies and trade secrets of the people who became Internet millionaires. To benefit from the daily online meetings where i could get my questions answered and really learn how to leverage the Internet.
